We have been selected as one of the projects for the Tesco Community Grants Scheme and Tesco customers will be able to vote for us in stores from the first week of October 2022 until mid January 2023.

With the grant, we’re looking to purchase horse agility kit to use in Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy sessions for children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Horse agility kit includes things like platforms, poles, pool noodles, balance board, flags, tyres, cones and hoops.

Training horse agility promotes clear and positive communication and improves confidence and connection between the horse and human. This makes it well suited to equine assisted therapy sessions. Using horse agility in sessions also helps to strengthen self-awareness and use of body language and it is a safe and fun way to interact with horses.
