Each headband has been handmade by local crafter Zoe and they reflect the colours of each member of the Equilore herd.

You can buy one for £12.50. All funds raised will go towards hoof maintainance.

This time of year hoof growth slows down due to changes in diet, as the grass doesn’t grow as fast. The weather in winter is tough on the hooves too; we get the frost which can lead to bruising of their feet to mud, which softens the hoof.

So it’s extra important to keep their hooves in good condition with farrier visits and hoof supplements. As the saying goes, “no hoof, no horse”.
