We were selected as one of the projects for the Tesco Community Grants Scheme. With the grant, we have been able to purchase horse agility kit to use in Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy sessions for children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us in Tesco stores last winter. As a result, we secured a grant from the Tesco Community Grants Scheme to purchase horse agility kit.

Training horse agility promotes clear and positive communication and improves confidence and connection between the horse and human.

This makes it well suited to equine assisted therapy sessions. Using horse agility in sessions also helps to strengthen self-awareness and use of body language and it is a safe and fun way to interact with horses.
