August marks Equilore’s 5th year!

Founder of Equilore, Loes Koorenhof, reflects on how far the charity has come, “What started with just myself and Winston grew out to a charity in 2020 and now has grown into a dedicated team of 6 amazing staff, 20 dedicated volunteers and 6 wonderful horses.

“Over the last five years, we’ve been privileged to support people through equine-assisted therapy, creating a space where individuals can build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the unique benefits of working with horses.

“We’re so grateful to our incredible team, volunteers, trustees, clients and supporters who have made this journey possible. Here’s to the next five years of learning, growing, and working together!”

In August, we also held our summer open day, welcoming clients, families and the wider community to the Equilore yard to get a taster of the work we do, support us through our cake sale and raffle or take part in craft activities.

We raised over £500 from your support and it was so wonderful to see there was so much interest in the work we do. A massive thank you from us!
