Equilore founder Dr Loes Koorenhof will be running 55km across 15 mountains (21 peaks) through the Breacon Beacons to raise funds to subsidise Equilore sessions to families affected by cancer. Equine Assisted Therapy has been a key service provided by Equilore and The Hummingbird Centre.

Equilore secures grant from Tesco Community Grants Scheme
We were selected as one of the projects for the Tesco Community Grants Scheme. With the grant, we have been able to purchase horse agility kit to use in Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy sessions for children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Last few Equilore fundraising calendars available to buy
We’ve been so thrilled with the support for our first Equilore fundraising calendar!
So far, we’ve raised over £400 from the sales of the calendar and the money raised will go towards our hay bills, which are always a little bit higher in the winter when the grass grows more slowly.
There are a few calendars left to buy and, as we’re now in January, we are dropping the price to £5.
